Press Kit, Brand Assets, and the TrekMeet StoryThe Elevator Pitch
TrekMeet is a local-first, offline-capable community platform that unifies discovery, safety, and logistics for outdoor enthusiasts. Purpose-built for hikers — not adapted from a generic events template.
It handles the noise — offline maps, live GPS tracking, group chat, event management, and emergency tools — so hikers can put their phone away and reconnect with nature.
The Story
What makes TrekMeet remarkable isn’t just the product — it’s how it was built. A non-technical solo founder shipped TrekMeet from zero to a live Google Play beta in under three months — and keeps building, with connections, group chat, and smarter trail discovery now rolling out to Closed Beta Round 2 testers.
Capabilities live today: offline vector maps with 30 founder-walked NSW trails, real-time GPS safety tracking, a complete event + groups stack, Solo Mode with GPX upload, and a quiet, crafted design system. All delivered with zero engineering hires, zero venture capital, and zero outsourced development — through a disciplined human-AI collaboration model that represents a new paradigm for solo product development.
About the Founder
Manish is a Sydney-based Product Owner and community leader. He founded OZ Outdoors in 2019 as a volunteer trail leader, growing it into a thriving community of over 3,000 members across two active hiking groups.
Having led over 400 hikes personally, Manish built TrekMeet to solve the logistical headaches he faced every weekend on the trail. What sets him apart: he shipped the entire product — app, website, and infrastructure — without a technical co-founder, using AI-assisted engineering as his development team.
Angles for press: Solo founder × AI development, outdoor tech in Australia, community-driven product design, the “App Stack” problem for hiking organisers.

The Problem
Outdoor enthusiasts juggle five apps for every weekend hike: Meetup for the event, WhatsApp for chat, AllTrails for the route, PayPal for petrol splits, SMS for safety contacts. No platform takes an outdoor experience from planning through maps, safety, and community — all in one place.
Our Vision
To become the default platform for organised outdoor experiences — starting with Australia, expanding by community. A purpose-built mobile platform where every trail is navigated, every community is built, and every explorer feels at home.
What We’ve Built
Live today: offline vector maps with 30 founder-walked NSW trails, real-time GPS safety tracking, Solo Mode with GPX import, connections and group chat, smart trail discovery, and a foundation for outdoor groups. Built offline-first, with secure cloud sync across devices.
The Methodology
Built by a single founder working with an AI agent team — not a metaphor, a literal development workflow. Every feature ships through a disciplined, structured process, and each commit carries the line Crafted with Claude Code. The build method itself is becoming a second product. The long-term roadmap: a complete Solo Founder Operating System.
