Delete Your Account
You can request permanent deletion of your TrekMeet account and associated data in the app or by email. The enforcement records described below are retained.
In the app
The fastest way
Open TrekMeet and go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Confirm your identity when asked. Once our server confirms your deletion request, your account is closed and its database personal information is removed or de-identified, apart from the enforcement records described below. Deleting uploaded files and your sign-in account may take further steps. If the connection drops or a step fails after closure, reconnect and choose “Finish deleting” in the app to retry.
If you cannot open the app
Ask us by email
If you have uninstalled TrekMeet or can no longer sign in, email us from the address on your account and we will process the deletion for you.
Email support@trekmeet.comIf that button does not open your mail app, write to support@trekmeet.com yourself. For security, we may contact you to verify your identity before processing. Web requests are processed manually and completed within 7 days.
What we keep, and why
If your account was ever the subject of a report or a moderation decision, we keep those enforcement records, including a reference to the deleted account, after deletion for safety and legal purposes. They are not visible to other members and are not used for anything else.
