Your Questions, Answered.

Everything you need to know about the TrekMeet journey.

The Basics

TrekMeet is a community driven app – a simple, beautiful space to plan your outdoor life. Whether you are a solo hiker looking for a group, a trail runner tracking progress, or just someone trying to organise a weekend walk with mates—we bring the plans, the maps, and the chat into one quiet app.
Those platforms are noisy. We are built for nature. Instead of juggling five apps (Facebook for events, WhatsApp for chat, AllTrails for maps, and bank transfers for petrol), TrekMeet puts everything in one pocket. We include trail maps, safety alerts, and even carpool planning right inside the event, so you can stop scrolling and start walking.
Not at all. We are for Outdoor Lovers. That includes casual Sunday walkers, trail runners, campers, meditation groups, and families. If it happens outside and clears your mind, it belongs on TrekMeet.
Yes! You don’t need to join a big public group. You can create a private “Circle” for just you and your mates. Use our tools to find a trail, pick a date, and handle the logistics for free—without the noise of social media.

The App & Timeline

We are currently in our Beta Phase (Early 2026). We are testing the app right now with a small group of founding members to make sure it is polished and safe.

Waitlist Members: You will get the first invites in February/March.
Public Launch: We are aiming to open the doors to everyone by Q2 2026.
TrekMeet is free to join and free to use. We believe nature should be accessible. There are no ads to ruin your view. To keep the platform sustainable, we’ll be adding some ‘pro’ features for power users and organisers down the road. That said, the heart of the app—finding and hosting hikes—will always be free for everyone.
We are launching on iPhone (iOS) and Android simultaneously.

For Organisers & Leaders

Because we give you your time back. TrekMeet handles the heavy lifting:
  • Safety Automation: Mandatory waivers and emergency contact collection are built-in.
  • Clear Logistics: Gear lists and meeting points are front and centre.
  • Welcome Home Tool: We are building a tool to help you easily move your existing member list from other platforms without the headache.
TrekMeet is an independent, community-driven project led by Manish, the volunteer organiser behind OZ Outdoors, one of the top-rated Sydney hiking group. After leading over 400 hikes in Sydney, he realised the outdoor community deserved better tools. This isn’t a Silicon Valley startup; it’s a tool built by a hiker, for hikers.
